2019 to provide an update on the impact of the new Curriculum for Wales on
disadvantaged learners. His report,
(PDF 1,117KB) “Successful Futures for
all: Exploration of curriculum reform” was published on 8 November. At the
meeting he presented his findings in a PowerPoint (PDF 1MB) presentation.

The Minister for Education

After the session the Chair
wrote to the WLGA and ADEW

evidence, (16 January 2019). Responses from the WLGA (PDF 131KB) and ADEW (PDF 97KB) were received on
31 January 2019.

Following the evidence received from
stakeholders and the Cabinet Secretary for Education the Committee wrote
to the Welsh Government (PDF 516KB) to highlight its findings on the
progress of curriculum reform in Wales. The Cabinet Secretary for Education responded

2016
The Committee met with Professor Donaldson and key stakeholders to discuss progress on the implementation of the Review’s recommendations. The Committee wrote to stakeholders and Pioneer schools to seek their views. Responses were published in the documents list below.
