Members received a presentation from Dr Gareth Enticott on Bovine TB and asked questions.

 

The Committee agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Energy, Planning and Rural Affairs about the issues raised.

Discussion of forward work programme

Minutes:

The Committee agreed its forward work programme. This will include:

 

-        carrying out further work on the inquiry into rethinking food in Wales;

-        undertaking work on air quality;

-        a discussion on the Welsh Government’s forthcoming Marine Plan, and

-        inviting the recently appointed Chief Executive of Natural Resources Wales to a future Committee meeting.

The Committee discussed the evidence and agreed to address several issues in its report on the draft Budget.

 

The Committee agreed to write to Natural Resources Wales to request information on its budget net of ‘invest to save’ loan repayments.
