3.1 Dr Andrew Goodall declared an interest that he is an NHS member of staff, on secondment with the Welsh Government, and is in receipt of an NHS pension.

3.2 Members scrutinised the Welsh Government in relation to the Ministerial Direction issued on 18 December 2019 on NHS pension arrangements for 2019-20.

5.1 Members considered the evidence received and agreed that the Chair should write to the Permanent Secretary at the Welsh Government with the Committee’s views on the procedure followed and any areas for improvement regarding the Ministerial Direction process.
