The Llywydd thanked the Member for her clarification, noting that the Record would deliver the verdict on the matter. The Llywydd asked that all Members listen very carefully to what other Members were saying, and interpreted what was said carefully.

Debate: The Review of National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - WITHDRAWN

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:

1. Agrees that Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and National Parks play a vital role:

a) as valued places for nature and in providing public and private benefit through a wide range of services;

b) in the sustainable management of natural resources and in supporting vibrant rural communities.

2. Agrees that all landscapes have a special value, as expressed in the sense of 'bro', which is at the heart of community identity and the way many people in Wales express their distinct sense of belonging to a particular place.
