Good parents should not be criminalised for giving their children a little smack: this is not abuse.
It is the duty of parents not the government to decide how to discipline their children; the state is interfering too much.
This proposed Bill does not have public support and is being imposed against public wishes.

There is no need for this Bill. The Law already protects children from violence. A loving smack is not violence.
