How will you ever be able to monitor every family with young children.
What ever Law you make will never stop parents correcting children who miss-behave.
The Cost of this consultation would be better spent training teachers to spot the signs of abuse.
The present law provides protection for children and the action needed to bring parents to task when punishment is deemed extreme.

Christianity was a compulsory subject in schools back in the 50's
We never had the problems with child behaviour then with what we are experiencing now.
Children need to be taught from an early age to have good manners. respect people., and property
Television and computer games promote too much violence and sex and the children believe that is the normal way to live.
