Raising awareness is always a good idea. It needs to be made clear what exactly the awareness is. Every person diagnosed with Autism is different and often people are not aware of the severity of it. As a teacher of autistic children, it can be an exceptionally difficult job understanding the need of all the different children and people being aware of their needs. |

Once a pupil has been diagnosed it needs to be that local authorities provide the funding required to meet the needs of the pupils and where nescessary, pupils are rebanded accordingly. |
